Chef Gaby
Gaby is a classically trained Personal Chef, with 10+ years experience working in high end Restaurants, Catering, Artisanal Cheese Shops, Wineries, and as the Private Chef for families and Postpartum Mothers. She has a degree in Culinary Arts and Management and her career has taken her to Paris, Portugal, Greece, Mallorca, and her hometown of Santa Barbara, California.
"My professional Journey began while attending culinary school. It taught me a how to hone my skills and to be effective and consistent, how to sharpen my knives and reduce food waste and understand the ethical implications of participating in the food industry. There, I learned the type of cook I wanted to be. My time working in high end restaurants taught me how using quality ingredients and paying special attention to detail makes all the difference. I learned to work fast and clean, and about the pride of offering food the community loves, and keeps coming back for.
Catering events always showed how special it is when people get together and share a meal. I've worked in Cheese Shops and small cafes in France. My work has brought me to Organic Wineries and Olive Oil Orchards in Greece and on sale boats in the Mediterranean. Ive taught cooking classes and opened a small Bed and Breakfast in the south of Portugal. My Husband and I returned to the United States to welcome our first child. Becoming a mother showed me first hand how food is the best medicine. I started creating meal plans and delivery services for new and expectant mothers and people eating a specific diet to heal themselves naturally.
